March of the Mummies

Parents in Cardiff protested against the government for affordable childcare, adequate parental leave and flexible working in Cardiff. It was organised by 'Pregnant then Screwed' as a nationwide protest held in 11 cities in the UK. The demonstration sparked a national conversation about the inadequacies of the current system for the benefit of parents. The photo series will cover the protest, highlighting the issue with a fun twist of Halloween. The protesters, which included mothers, fathers, kids and fellow well-wishers dressed in Halloween themes, marched through the Cardiff city centre. The message was loud and clear; I say Pregnant; you say Screwed; 'Pregnant' 'Screwed' 'Pregnant' 'Screwed'.
